1. Fridays After Five

Every Friday at 5:00 PM from now until September 14, the Sprint Pavilion will host their annual event Fridays After Five. This concert series features local artists, with music genres ranging from country to blues to even disco!

This event also has a variety of concession options, and all of the proceeds go to local non-profit organizations.

2. Vine To Wine 5K

On June 22, Barren Ridge Vineyards will host this annual event, where runners can enjoy spectacular mountains views, and delicious wine.

Tickets range from $30-$45, and each runner receives a complimentary t-shirt and commemorative wine glass. The post-race awards ceremony will feature wine samples, a gourmet food truck, and live music.

3. Kids & Nature Festival

a purple and white flower in a meadow.Enjoy a day of eco-friendly workshops, activities, and more at the Kids & Nature Festival! On June 3, from 10 AM-1 PM nature-friendly local schools, non-profits, and organizations will come together at Ix Art Park to celebrate children and the outdoors.

There will be live music, local food trucks and craft beer, a petting zoo, giveaways, face painting, and more! Price of admission is a charitable donation of your choice.

4. Charlottesville City Market

Discover everything from fresh fruits and veggies to home made baked goods to handmade crafts. The market features numerous local vendors, and is open from 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

5. Virginia Craft Brewers Fest

beer taps.If you’re a fan of local craft brews, then the Virginia Craft Brewers Fest is definitely the place for you! On Saturday, August 18, IX Art Park in downtown Charlottesville will host more than 100 breweries from Virginia.

There is sure to be fun for all ages at this annual event, with live music and food trucks throughout the day. Ticket prices range from $25-$90, and the event will be from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
